Season 1: Adoption Beats Awareness

This question has been on my mind for a while.

Because many teams invest time in workshops, reflections, and diagnostics—yet surprisingly little changes in their day-to-day work.

That’s exactly why this short series about Team North Star came to life.

Five episodes.

Five perspectives.

And one central question:

👉 How do you turn awareness of strengths into real-world use?

The story is fictional.

The situations behind it are not.

Episode 1 – Anna: "We thought of everything."

After a successful workshop, Anna realizes that little has changed in the team. Her journey in the Strengthmaker Studio doesn’t start with another test—it begins with a question: How can strengths become visible in everyday work?

Episode 2 – Ben: "Another tool…?"

Ben starts off skeptical. But when he looks at his profile and the AI analysis, he sees for the first time not just what his strengths are, but how they play out—and why some ideas don’t land with the team.

Episode 3 – Cem: "I thought I was the problem."

Cem explores the Team Grid and realizes that differences in the team aren’t a weakness—they’re a pattern. For the first time, he sees not just his own profile, but the dynamics of the entire team.

Episode 4 – Laura: "I’ll write it down."

Laura uses the Journal and Feedback features to bring unspoken tensions to light. What was once just a feeling becomes clarity. Observation turns into conversation.

Episode 5 – Anna: "Maybe that’s where real collaboration begins."

In the season finale, Anna uses the Strength Companion and Meeting Prompts to prepare for a tough conversation. And in the end, one sentence changes everything:

"I think we’re still not saying everything we’re thinking."

Why this series?

This series doesn’t show a perfect world.

No glossy coaching moments.

Instead, it highlights what really matters in my view:

👉 Small behavior changes

👉 Better conversations

👉 More understanding in the team

👉 And the courage to work together honestly

Because:

Awareness alone doesn’t change teams.

Adoption does.
